MINUTES:
A motion was made by Don to approve the March Minutes with name
correction. Susan seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
TREASURER'S
REPORT: Dan presented the report. He's working with the old program and
the new program. Scouts' accounts reflect all summer camp payments,
Pinewood Derby Earnings (Scout's earned $10.50 per scout hour). Summer
Camp 20 scouts, 8 adults. Camporee 22 scouts, 12 adults. Re chartering
must sign forms and make check/cash payment. Marj made a motion to
accept the report. Dan seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
ADVANCEMENT
REPORT: Court of Honor will be held May 22. Merit Badges needed
to be completed include Electricity, Emergency Preparedness, Fish and
Wildlife Management, and Camping. Rank Advancement includes the
Great Eagles, plus other scouts. It was suggested to have lighter
meetings in May so Scout Master's Conferences and Board of Reviews can be completed.
Re chartering e-mail all scouts who have not committed, have Patrol leaders
follow up with phone calls.
EAGLE
PROJECT PROPOSAL: Tony Smith presented his Eagle Project. He plans
to work on the Cesky Bratri Cemetery. Tony is working with the Cemetery's
Association. Plan work day is April 29 with May 20 as the rain
date. The project was approved with changes, estimate work hours and
specific task per area assigned number of scouts.
SUMMER
CAMP: JULY 15-22. After discussion on different transportation
options Marj made the motion to take St. Mark's bus to summer camp. Dan
seconded it. The motion passed unanimously. Final payment is due
April 30 the camp requests that check and paperwork is sent together. The
camp did not have a problem with the number of scouts and adults we are
sending. Merit Badges are available on line May 1.
Troop will send scouts' choices after the May 15 meeting. Health forms
have been handed out and they will be hand carried to summer camp.
We still need an adult leader with CPR. Youth protection training is
required for all adults attending camp. Climb on Safely and Water safety are
needed. Tour Permit has to be filed.
SCOUTMASTER
REPORT: Troop 2 has spots available for Philmont 2007 (July 14-28).
If Troop 25 is interested we need to make a deposit of $300 by Tuesday, April
22. Cost per person based on a crew of 12 people is $735.
Bike
ride - Platte River State Park, May 19-21. Bike ride to the Park on the
20th. Sleeping accommodations tee-pees or Lewis and Clark, Dan will check
on availability. Shram State Park to finish Fish and Wildlife Management

Friends
of Scouting $510 short of goal.
Popcorn
will be picked up April 28, available at May 1st meeting.
